What Do We Mean by Managed Services?

The term managed services refers to general system administration services that are used to keep the the Web server up and running. These are usually provided to our clients under a contract of 1 month to several years. These would include, for example:

  • system performance monitoring
  • daily backups
  • replacement of failed components such as disk drives, fans, etc.
  • network load balancing
  • firewall and router verification
Clients who purchase managed services can avoid many of the expenses of finding, recruiting, training, paying, and retaining qualified system administrators without sacrificing system reliability and performance.
